I don’t know about you, but newborn babies are one of the miracles of this world. Whenever a baby is born, your life changes in a blink of an eye. And for Alecia and Cameron, they just introduced their youngest addition of the family not too long ago. With a nice home and beautiful kids, life can’t get better than this for this lovely family. I wish you guys nothing but the best and Godspeed to Cameron as you deploy to your next destination and thank you for your service for our country.
The Durham Family
The Durham family was a lot of fun to shoot. Not only do they have an active dog, but also an active baby. Like I said before, taking pictures of babies and dogs are very challenging. But when you put them together, it’s a whole another level. It didn’t stop me from getting great pictures of them, it actually was a lot of fun. They decided to have their session done at Mission Trails for the quiet outdoors instead of the busyness of Balboa Park. Nothing can beat nature when you have it all to yourselves, right? Another great session with another great family.
The Eisners – One Year Anniversary
Stephanie and Patrick are both from Huntington Beach, but got married here last year in our lovely city of San Diego. For their first year anniversary, they decided to come back where the tied the knot at the Catamaran Resort & Spa in Mission Bay. It was a beautiful and bright day at the resort with plenty of people enjoying the awesome scenery. Despite having many of them in there bathing suits and out in the water, we were able to get around that and get the shots we wanted. Best of luck to the lovely couple and may your love continue to grow for each other.
Yvonne + Devon – Windansea Beach Wedding
Yvonne and Devon picked a great day to have their wedding by the ocean at Windansea Beach in La Jolla. You also got to love the colors and theme they chose as well, everything tied in all together. You can tell that these two were very much in love just by the way they look at each other. With their close family and friends in attendance, they witnessed the bonding of two hearts mending into one. The reception took place at the Rose Creek Cottage not to far away where the guests had a great time eating good food, drinks, and dancing. Weddings are always a blast especially when you get to end the special event by dancing the night away. Good luck to you both and may your love continue to grow as you grow old together.
Gia + Jim – MCRD Chapel Wedding
There’s nothing better than seeing a happy and pregnant bride on her wedding day. For Gia, she was glowing and looked very elegant in her wedding dress showing off her cute baby bump, while Jim looked very handsome in his white military uniform. The beautiful wedding took place at the MCRD Chapel in Point Loma with many of their friends and family to witness these two finally tying the knot. After the ceremony and portrait taking, we headed on over to the Bay View restaurant where the reception took place, with a buffet and candy bar waiting for everyone to partake. So, what’s the best way to end a great wedding day? By dancing the night away! I wish you both a happy marriage and easy going pregnancy.
Winnick Baby Shower
It’s so awesome to see the Winnick family grow by adding another baby to the family. Now Ezekiel will soon have a baby brother to play with. The beautiful baby shower took place at the Maruca residence with bright colors, good food, great weather, and cute babies. With smiles and happy people all around, I couldn’t help but be happy myself. I’m so blessed to be a part of this wonderful family by capturing their special moments for them. Good luck with the rest of the pregnancy and I’ll see you soon baby Noah.
The Moeller Family
What better way to spend the summer than with family. The Moeller Family came in to San Diego for a mini vacation to visit for a few days to take part of the many tourist spots here, like Sea World, Legoland, and more. With their hotel close to Belmont Park in Mission Beach, they decided to take some family portraits on the beach which was just a walk away. Though it was bright and sunny that day, nothing still couldn’t beat having fun in the sun, especially at the beach. I hope you guys enjoyed your time here in America’s finest city.
Haley – Class of 2015
Haley is a senior at Torrey Pines High School and can’t wait to get her last year going. This young lady was fun to shoot and you can see her outgoing personality upfront and center. The first location we went to was a certain area inside the UCSD campus that was filled with lots and lots of trees. A very nice area with so many possibilities. We then headed on over to Scripps Beach to take more photos with the beautiful pier, sand, and water to enjoy. There’s no better way to end a photo session than watching the sun go down at the beach. Good luck to you Haley on your senior year and to your future plans there after.
The McCarty Family Reunion
I came upon doing this fun family reunion from a fellow photographer. Due to an injury to his shooting hand, I took the opportunity to take his place. So when I first talked to Marty on the phone, she already knew what she wanted for the photoshoot. With most of them coming from different places outside of California, they rented out a beautiful beach house in Carlsbad like they used too when they took their kids when they were younger, but this time for the big 50th wedding anniversary. Now with the family expanding and lots of grandkids, they all came down for a family reunion. Although it was a gloomy day, everyone still had fun with the beach as their playground. I hope you had a great time as much as I did taking your photos.
Elise + Ari – Martin Johnson House Wedding
Elise and Ari both wanted to do a destination wedding and they decided to tied the knot in our beautiful city of San Diego. The location they choose was at the Martin Johnson House, which I never heard of before the wedding, but is a beautiful place that over looks the beaches of La Jolla. With the majority of their closest family and friends flying in to witness this special occasion, nothing could compare seeing these two love birds mend their special bond in holy matrimony. I owe a big “Thank You” to Elise for being the first person to take a chance on me and hire me as a photographer for a wedding, big or small. Congratulations and may you both have a wonderful and happy life together.
